I can't say I'm a person that is much into ethnic or even retro jewelry. I do have a few of those but I am more into contemporary jewelry.

I do find this ethnic piece rather unique and captivating.

It is a sterling silver native American Indian Navajo pendant jewelry made up of a three quarter inch convex disc with secured bale and mimbres style lizard design.

Very unique. I wonder what's the story behind the lizard. Is there any cultural significance of a lizard to the native American Indian and if the way the lizard is designed symbolize something?

This is a good gift candidate for folks who like stuff like this.

Frankly, I would like to have a good look up close myself.

Free Form Pendant

I admire artistic jewelry and this Mexican fire opals with freeform wire sculpturing pendant is an example of artistic expression through jewelry that I think highly of.

Opal is a gemstone I own and have samples of but I'm not sure what fire opals are. With or without fire, opals are beautiful gemstones as is evident in the photograph.

I have bought wire jewelry before and one thing that concerns me is that some wires are pretty hard and maintain their shape while others can be rather soft and bend out of shape under pressure.

A purchase without further examination is quite a gamble.

Hmmm.
